§ 26-473. Contracts.

(a)

No contract shall be approved or executed by the county for any capital project unless at least one percent of the construction costs for such capital project is used for the purchase, installation/planting, and/or maintenance of trees in public places, which amounts are referred to as tree funds.

(b)

No contract for a capital project shall be presented for approval by the county unless the department of environment and community development certifies that the contract complies with the provisions of this article.
