§ 138-73. Appointees of City of Atlanta; submission of names by Mayor of Atlanta.

  • The Mayor of the City of Atlanta may submit to the Commissioners of Fulton County and DeKalb County the names of not more than five members which he recommends the commissioners of the respective counties appoint to serve on the board of trustees. Should persons recommended by the Mayor of the City of Atlanta be appointed by the Commissioners of Fulton and DeKalb Counties, the Mayor of the City of Atlanta shall likewise recommend to the commissioners successors to such appointees in the event of vacancy or the expiration of the term of office of any such trustee or trustees.
