§ 130-34. Emergency management director; appointment.

(a)

The department shall be under the direction and control of an emergency management director who shall be appointed by the Governor of the State of Georgia upon nomination by the Chairman of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners and the Mayor of the City of Atlanta, in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia.

(b)

The director of emergency management is also designated the disaster coordinator for Fulton County.
