§ 122-1. Use of annex buildings for judicial operations and court services.

  • (a)

    The county annex building located in South Fulton County on Stonewall Tell Road and the county annex building in North Fulton County on Roswell Road are hereby declared county sites and designated for all uses and purposes otherwise allowable by law at such annex buildings by the superior court, state court, probate court and juvenile courts, provided that said courts maintain their court and their central depository for the keeping of all records at their present courthouses in the City of Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.

    (b)

    To the extent allowed by the law and Constitution of the State of Georgia, the judges of the above-named courts of Fulton County are authorized to sit and hold court at the annex buildings on all matters within their jurisdiction.

    (c)

    The chief judge of the state court is respectfully requested to implement the act of 1980 providing for the appointment of magistrates by designating and directing the newly appointed magistrates to maintain offices and conduct hearings and trials at the annex buildings.
