§ 102-188. Communication between inmates and families; emergency or special privileges.

  • The chaplain shall attempt to provide communications between inmates and their families concerning genuine needs of the inmate and his or her family, and shall try to alleviate such genuine needs that lie within the jurisdiction, authority, and means of the chaplaincy office. The chaplain shall investigate and make recommendations concerning application for emergency or special privileges for the well-being of the inmate and his family and also for the well-being of the security division of the institution.
