§ 50-35. Authority of county to establish and regulate sewerage and water systems outside municipalities.

  • The board of commissioners or other county authority of Fulton County in this state is hereby fully authorized and empowered, for the sanitation, public health, public safety and general welfare of the county to lay out, establish, construct, maintain, control, regulate, reopen, repair, improve, use, protect and discontinue sewers, sewerage systems, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, drains and disposal plants outside the corporate limits of any cities, towns or municipalities within said county and they are further authorized and empowered to contract for water supplies and for connections with the improvements or systems which are authorized to be constructed by this law.
