§ 42-1. Authority of county commission to construct, pave and improve streets, roads and sidewalks; costs.

  • Within the unincorporated areas, the Commissioners of Roads and Revenues of Fulton County shall have full power and authority to construct, pave and otherwise improve public streets, roadways and sidewalks, and to assess all or a portion of the cost of such pavement or improvement against the abutting property and the owners thereof. In all such cases, however, the costs shall be determined and assessed under uniform rules and regulations adopted by the county commission and applied uniformly to all roads, streets, sidewalks and properties of the same class, and similarly situated.
