Article I. IN GENERAL |
§ 30-4. Sale, lease or transfer of county park property.
Neither land nor any interest therein acquired or held by counties having a population of 600,000 or more by the last or any future United States census for public park purposes shall be sold, leased or transferred by such county or by the governing authorities thereof to any person, firm or corporation without the prior approval of a majority vote of the current grand jury of such county in session at the time of such sale, lease or transfer; provided, however, this law shall not prevent leasing by such authorities of the concession privileges in such park for a period not exceeding one year. Every sale or lease or transfer of the title or of any interest or title in such park property contrary to the terms of this law shall be void for every purpose.
