Before entering upon his duties, the county manager shall give bond in the amount
of $25,000.00, payable to the county, upon which bond action may be brought in the
name of the county at the instance of the county commission, for any act of misfeasance,
nonfeasance or malfeasance. The premium on such bond shall be paid out of the county
treasury, and the bond shall be kept by the probate court judge of such county.
