§ 10-319. Court defined as agency; disposal of old accusations.

  • The criminal court of each county having a population of 550,000 or more according to the United [States] decennial census of 1970, or any such future census, shall be an "agency" as that term is defined in the Georgia Records Act [O.C.G.A. § 50-18-90 et seq.], and notwithstanding any other provisions of any law, the clerk of the criminal court of said counties is hereby authorized to dispose of original accusations which are more than 35 years old in accordance with said Georgia Records Act.
