§ 10-80. State court defined; application of article.
(a)
For the purposes of this article, the term "state court" means a court governed by the act providing for the organization, jurisdiction, venue, practice and procedure of certain courts below the superior court level, approved March 24, 1970 (1970 Ga. Laws, page 679), as now or hereafter amended [repealed—See now O.C.G.A. § 15-7-1 et seq.].
(b)
The provisions of this article shall apply in all counties in this state which have a state court and which have a population of 550,000 or more according to the 1970 United States decennial census, or any future such census.
