§ 6-178. Hours of operation.

  • (a)

    Sales for on-premises consumption. License holders may engage in the sale of alcoholic beverages Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:55 a.m. the following day and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:55 a.m. on Sunday. Sunday sales may be made between the hours of 11:00 a.m. until 3:55 a.m. on Monday. All licensed premises must close their premises to the public and clear their premises of patrons within 30 minutes after the time set by this chapter for discontinuance of the sale of alcoholic beverages on the premises.

    (b)

    Sale by the package of distilled spirits. Retailers of distilled spirits must not engage in the sale of such distilled spirits nor permit their place of business to be open except between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:45 p.m. Monday through Saturday unless otherwise prohibited. The business hours within which such business may be carried on in Fulton County will be determined by Eastern Standard Time or Eastern Daylight Saving Time.

    (c)

    [Hours of retail sales]. Retailers must not engage in the sale of wine or malt beverages, nor permit their place of business to be open for the sale of wine and malt beverages by the package, except between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:45 p.m. on Monday through Saturday unless otherwise permitted.
