§ 62-86. Fulton County utility accommodations guidelines and procedures manual.

Through passage of this ordinance, the board of commissioners adopts the "Fulton County
Utility Accommodations Guidelines and Procedures Manual", (the "manual") and all rules,
regulations, procedures, plans and specifications contained therein. The director
of public works shall be responsible for the promulgation of the manual and its contents.
The manual shall be reviewed, at least annually, and updated as necessary to reflect
the most current rules, regulations and practices and shall conform to the state's
1988 Utility Accommodation Policy Standards Manual, promulgated by the State Department
of Transportation, as same may be amended from time to time by the state, in order
to reflect changes in acceptable design standards and materials, and to reflect current
construction costs. The director of public works will ensure that the contents of
the manual are equivalent to, but is not more restrictive than the regulations promulgated
by Georgia Department of Transportation Utility Accommodation Policy and Standards,
1988 edition, as same may be amended from time to time.
