§ 58-117. Platting authority.

No plat of a subdivision within the unincorporated portion of Fulton County shall be filed or recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Fulton County until it shall have been submitted to and approved by the director of public works and indication of such approval entered in writing on the plat. The clerk of the superior court shall not file or record a plat of a subdivision which does not have an indication of approval. The filing or recording of a plat of a subdivision without the approval of the director of public works as required by this article is hereby declared a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, is punishable as provided by law.
