§ 2-73. Incompatible employment—Nepotism.

(a)

No officer or employee shall solicit, request, or accept employment with, or render services to, any person, business, or professional association when doing so is adverse to and incompatible with the proper discharge of his or her official duties.

(b)

No officer or employee shall advocate for or cause, directly or indirectly, the hiring, advancement, promotion, or transfer of a member of his or her family to any office or position with the county or a county agency.

(c)

No officer or employee having authority to appoint or recommend for appointment members of any county board, commission, or authority shall appoint or recommend for appointment a member of his or her family.
