Chapter 14. BUILDINGS AND BUILDING REGULATIONS |
Article I. IN GENERAL |
§ 14-1. Penalty for violation of chapter.
Any violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be a misdemeanor, and any person violating any provisions of this chapter, or any codes, rules, and regulations pursuant to this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. The Magistrate Court of Fulton County and the State County of Fulton County shall each have jurisdiction to try offenses alleging violations of this article by any person, firm, corporation, partnership, or other entity. Each day any violation of this article shall continue shall be considered a separate offense. Upon conviction, any person, firm, corporation, partnership, or other entity shall be subject to a fine of $1,000.00 per violation or imprisonment in the Fulton County Jail for not more than 60 days, or by both this fine and imprisonment for each offense.
