§ 9.7. Monuments and iron pipes.

  • Permanent monuments shall be accurately set and established to tie with the county GIS monuments or as required by the director.

    The monuments shall consist of two two-inch iron pipes, 16 inches in length, or T bars, 24 inches in length, or other approved materials. The monuments shall be set so that the top of pipe shall be six inches above the ground level, unless otherwise approved by the department of public works.

    The accurate location, material, and size of all existing monuments shall be shown, on the final plat, as well as the future location of monuments to be placed after street improvements have been completed.

    Iron pipes at least one-half inch by 16 inches shall be used and shall be set two inches above the finished grade.
